Post Traumatic Stress
Our premises are easily accessible by wheelchair and we have a wheelchair accessible toilet. Please inform the receptionist if you unable to climb stairs. We have an induction loop for those that are hard of hearing. Please inform us of any 'specific' communication needs that you have.
We have a baby changing workstation and can make a room available for baby feeding.
There are no parking facilities available although there are resident and pay and display bays available locally.
In the interests of safety, prams, pushchairs, shopping trolleys and umbrellas must be left in the lobby area.
In the interests of hygiene, please do not bring food, drink or animals (except assistance dogs) onto the premises.

We are fully computerised. We are registered under the Data Protection Act and have robust systems in place to protect your confidentiality. Personal health information is used to monitor our screening activities. Anonymised health information is sent to the PCT to monitor quality standards and for payment verification purposes.
Please inform us of any changes to your personal details as soon as possible to keep our records up -to-date. Under the Data Protection Act you may view your records, speak to a doctor for more information and charges
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme which is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to routinely make available - contact the practice administrator for details.
We offer a practice complaints procedure to deal with complaints about the services we provide. Any of our staff will give you further information. Our aim is to give you the highest possible standard of service and we try to deal swiftly with any problems that may occur. Complaints should be directed to the Practice Manager.
The practice has a policy of non-discrimination against patients or staff with respect to age, race, sex, religion/belief, disability or sexual preference.
We may remove from our list any patient who is physically or verbally abusive or threatening towards staff or other patients.

Patient Information - Chaperone Policy
This organisation is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times and the safety of everyone is of paramount importance.
All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. This chaperone may be a family member or friend. On occasions you may prefer a formal chaperone to be present, ie a trained member of staff.
Wherever possible we would ask you to make this request at the time of booking your appointment so that arrangements can be made and your appointment is not delayed in any way. Where this is not possible we will endeavour to provide a formal chaperone at the time of request. However, occasionally it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.
Your healthcare professional may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations in accordance with our chaperone policy.
